Main Topics:

1) Evolution of paleo-oceans: from accretion to collision (ophiolites, ocean plate stratigraphy, tectonics, magmatism, metamorphism and deformation styles); 2) Across-border correlations within the CAOB and nomenclature; 3) Continental crustal growth and architecture; 4) Intra-plate processes and mantel plume; 5) Ore-forming systems and mineralization in Central Asian Orogenic Belt; 6) Superposition of paleo-Pacific and Okhotsk tectonics; 7)  Continental amalgamation in the CAOB, Neoproterozoic to Palaeozoic and Mesozoic palaeogeography and palaeomagnetism; 8) Reconstruction of  the crustal structure and tectonics of the CAOB using geophysical techniques.

The XV-th All-Russia Conference “Geodynamic Evolution of the Lithosphere of the Central Asian Mobile Belt: from  Ocean to Continent”, October 16-19, 2017

Main topics:

1) Early formation and evolution of the Central Asian Fold Belt (CAFB) (Meso- and Neoproterozoic); 2) Magmatism, metamorphism and deformations of the lithosphere at the closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean (Paleozoic – Mesozoic); 3) Mesozoic and Cenozoic intraplate activity, orogeny and paleoclimate change in the Central Asia; 4) Paleomagnetism, geodynamics and spatiotemporal reconstructions of the Central Asian  Fold Belt and its bordering mountains; 5) Metallogenic evolution and conditions for the occurrence of ore-forming systems in geodynamic settings of the Central Asian Fold  Belt.

About Us
