Geodynamics & Tectonophysics, the journal published by the Institute of the Earth’s Crust SB RAS, is among the winners of Project "Continuation of the competitive support of programmes for the development of scientific journals in support of their entry into international science-metric databases" conducted by the RF Ministry of Education and Science and the National Electronic Information Consortium (NEICON).

At the first stage, the preliminary criteria were applied and, out of 2,856 scientific journals, 500 periodicals were selected for participation in the main competition. Based on the results of bibliometric and subject-matter expert reviews, and also on the assessment of the authoritativeness of journals in the scientific community (more than 30 criteria were taken into account), 100 scientific journals were awarded grants to implement their 2018 development programmes in 2018. Among the winners is Geodynamics & Tectonophysics.
